FSF kontroluje glibca

Free Software Foundation założyła komitet o nazwie GNU C Library Steering Committee, a mający się zajmować nadzorem nad biblioteką glibc, stanowiącą podstawę większości oprogramowania skompilowanego przy użyciu kompilatora gcc. W skład komitetu wejdą Mark Brown, Paul Eggert, Andreas Jaeger, Jakub Jelinek, Roland McGrath oraz Andreas Schwab. Z nowym organem FSF można się skontaktować przy użyciu adresu glibc-sc@gnu.org.

The committee will have overall  responsibility for the maintenance of GNU libc as a part of the  GNU Project.  The membership of the Committee is:        Mark Brown      Paul Eggert      Andreas Jaeger      Jakub Jelinek      Roland McGrath      Andreas Schwab    The central role of the GNU C Library in the GNU/Linux system  makes its maintenance very important.  The Steering Committee will  provide a focus for discussion and decision of policy and planning  issues facing the project, and should allow more actual  development work to be done by the code maintainers.    The Committee can be contacted via email at glibc-sc@gnu.org.
