Czy magiczne literki GPL zostaną zastąpione przez DSL? Zobaczymy… Na razie jednak wiemy tyle, że Michael Stutz opracował nową licencję typu Copyleft, która zabezpiecza prawa autorskie twórcy dzieła, a jednocześnie jest w zgodzie z ideą OpenSource. W przeciwieństwie do GPL, można nią objąć dowolne dzieło – oprogramowanie, teksty, grafikę. Zresztą, sami zobaczcie:

PREAMBLE.    Copyright law gives certain exclusive rights to the author of a work,  including the rights to copy, modify and distribute the work (the  "reproductive," "adaptative," and "distribution" rights).
